Things have been busy busy so far this year, with lots of enquiries and bookings for the few places we had left on our upcoming tours in late-2026 and early 2027. The season is almost fully booked now, with the only places available being a few left on our 14-day tour that runs from 16 February to 1 March 2027. Our 14-day tours boast a very successful tally of species over the last few years, and trip reports and checklists can be found on our Trip Reports page.
The 14-day itinerary has been designed for those wanting to maximise their New Zealand experience within a 14-day time frame. It still encounters much of New Zealand’s spectacular scenery, and maximises our chances of as many of the New Zealand endemic and native species as possible. Being 14-days we miss some parts of New Zealand, and therefore some species, but for those wanting a shorter New Zealand experience, that encounters most of the iconic species, then this is a great option.
Our 14-day tour trip list generally boasts over 130 species of birds, with around 60 endemic breeding species and 20-25 tubenose species. We consistently have the highest species tallies for any New Zealand tour; no one else even comes close.
With just these few places left, email us as soon as possible and request more information!
